Conditional formatting with vba

Standard conditional formatting in Excel is limited to 3 conditions. Yet you’ll often want to format cells based on far more conditions than that. A basic workaround is using one worksheet (defining the conditions and the corresponding formats) and a tiny bit of vba – at first this might seem a little extreme for a bit of added functionality. But once you’ve done it, you can incorporate it into any workbook – the only thing you’ll ever want to change will be the conditions and the formats – the vba can be used with absolutely no changes.
